Rent or buy? Count the months.
The simplest way to decide is to compare how long you'll need the office with the point where rent adds up to the purchase price. Short, single projects favour renting. If you'll keep an office busy past the break-even point — one long build or several jobs back to back — buying usually wins, and you still own the unit afterwards.
Figures use our standard brochure prices and leave out delivery, resale value, and the better monthly rates on longer rental terms — your quote has the exact numbers.
Rental vs purchase break-even
- A 20ft office rented at the standard $450/month adds up to its $17,500 purchase price after about 39 months.
- A 40ft office breaks even sooner: $850/month against a $25,000 purchase price is about 29 months.
- Premium tiers break even faster — about 31 months for a 20ft ($650/month vs $19,950) and about 27 months for a 40ft ($1,050/month vs $27,950) — because Premium raises the rent proportionally more than the purchase price.
- The 10ft all-in-one rents at a single $450/month price, so buying a standard 10ft ($11,500) passes its rent equivalent in about 26 months.

Standard
The entry point for every size — insulated, wired, heated, and ready for daily site use. Most project offices start here.
Premium
The higher-spec tier for each size: 10ft from $12,950, 20ft from $19,950, and 40ft from $27,950 to buy, or 20ft from $650 and 40ft from $1,050 a month to rent.
Hi-Cube
About 12 inches more interior headroom for taller crews and overhead storage. Hi-Cube adds $775 to a 10ft and $1,000 to a 20ft.

Delivery is quoted separately — an estimated $400 to $1,000 by unit size and distance from our Langley yard.
In-stock units deliver immediately, subject to stock; custom builds take about 3 weeks.
